Jack Stratas spent 28 years in the newspaper business, the last 16 as
a news editor for the Birmingham Post-Herald in Birmingham, Ala., and editor of the Courier-Tribune in Asheboro NC.
Before that, he made newspaper stops in Mobile, Al. (twice); Bristol, VA.-TN., and Memphis, TN. After leaving Asheboro after
a four-year stay, he said he went from reporting the news to reporting the Good News..... received a doctorate in ministry
